Johanna Berry BSN, RN, HNB-BC, Reiki Master

Sage Therapy & Wellness-7.jpg

Johanna’s passion for healing was guided early on when she received her Bachelor’s Degree in the Science of Nursing at The University of Rhode Island in 2010. For the next 8 years, she worked as a traditional RN in various acute care settings. While working as a conventional RN, Johanna was able to experience a number of success stories and miracle moments. However, she also experienced the numerous limitations and complications of western medicine. Johanna knew there had to be more. She knew that inexplicable things occur in healthcare that can only be chalked up to positive thought (the mind) or prayer and faith (the spirit). Johanna knew, on a deeper level, that everything was connected.

In her personal life, Johanna was already utilizing a holistic approach, using essential oils, receiving Reiki, practicing yoga and meditation, and valuing food as medicine. She was drawn to the idea of holism, to treat the whole person (mind, spirit and body). So, Johanna decided to go further and began training as a holistic nurse. In 2018, she received her board certification from The American Holistic Nurses Association as a Certified Holistic Nurse. With healing and holism as her background, Johanna was compelled to join these two passions. She accomplished this goal in 2019, when she became a Reiki Master. Since that time, Johanna has had the pleasure of introducing this healing therapy to numerous people with incredible results. She is so grateful for this opportunity and looks forward to sharing this beautiful and powerful practice with you.
